• Joe Lettera is anxious to contact anyone who served with or knew his brother, 1LT Alfred Lettera. LT Lettera was the Battalion Supply Officer for the 3rd Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment. He was killed in Germany on April 12, 1945. An individual named Ken Fegley wrote a letter to Mrs. Lettera after her son's death. Another soldier named Sullivan was also apparently on the scene.
